Ice Cream Social

Note of Thanks
                   

     Last week, under a high blue sky, and without a trace of humidity in the air, the Bloomfield Village South Homeowners Association held an Ice Cream Social. It was the first official get-together of the community in several years. Attendance easily exceeded the temperature, and by most appearances and all accounts, a good time was had by everyone involved.

     So this note is to thank you for gathering to make the day such a success. It was heartening to see the energy and spirit you all brought to the event. You exceeded the hopes of the HOA Board on all counts. I would like to express particular gratitude to VP Doug Seley for his company’s sponsorship of the ice cream cart; to Treasurer Kim Ruiz who planned the menu and wrangled the supplies; to the face painters who made kids look great; to the Block Captains for keeping everyone informed; and to everyone who spent time dishing out the frozen treats or sticking around to help clean up.

     Thank you. I know the entire Board hopes to see all of you again at the Annual Meeting on October 23rd at 7:00 pm (location TBD) to take the next step in strengthening our community.
